Tennis-Point is one of Europe’s leading e-commerce platforms in the sports retail sector and part of a global digital commerce network. Our company is going through an important transition, migrating from Salesforce Commerce Cloud to Shopify Plus. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major platform transformation and help establish our Shopify Plus expertise from the ground up. 

We're looking for a talented Full-Stack Shopify Developer (all genders) ideally based in Barcelona (100% remote position) to join our team and help us build exceptional e-commerce experiences on Shopify Plus. If you're passionate about modern web technologies and enjoy working with a diverse tech stack, this role is for you. 

You'll work on our Shopify Plus platform, building and maintaining themes with Liquid, developing modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript, and creating serverless solutions with Cloudflare Workers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the future of our e-commerce platform. As we transition from the external delivery team, you'll play a key role in taking ownership of the platform and ensuring its long-term success. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take over maintenance and development of the Shopify Plus platform from the external delivery team
  • Develop and maintain Shopify Plus themes using Liquid templating
  • Build React applications with TypeScript
  • Design and implement serverless functions with Cloudflare Workers
  • Work with Shopify's GraphQL APIs (Admin API and Storefront API)
  • Write clean, performant, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and international stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team 

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience
  • Strong experience with Shopify Plus and Liquid templating
  • Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript 
  • Proficiency with GraphQL (Shopify APIs preferred)
  • Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
  • High-level English communication (both written and verbal) - required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Cloudflare Workers or similar serverless platforms (we're willing to train)
  • Experience with Shopify app development
  • Previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (helpful for understanding the migration context)
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
  • Understanding of distributed systems and microservices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
